Forgiving someone who hurt you in one way or another is sometimes very hard to do. And yet, it can be the very best thing you can do…for yourself. When you forgive, the receiving person feels relief from a transgression they have made, from a line they have crossed. And, it feels good to have received your kindness in forgiving them
But, what does it do for you? It reduces pent up negative energy. It clears the way for goodness to reenter your soul. You feel clean again without stress and anxiety. It releases any judgmental feelings of what’s right or wrong.
It clears the slate for you to build upon. Of course, it feels good to be forgiven, but it feels great to forgive. It allows the best of you to come forward. And, isn’t that how it should be? Isn’t that what life is all about?
