Make your mind a safe place to come home to…

Your home is a place of comfort, happiness… a place to relax and recover from a challenging or stressful day. It’s a place that provides a feeling of safety and wellbeing. Think of your mind in the same way. A place only you can go to. A place you have total control of. It’s a place you can count on to do your best thinking without being pushed or prodded to think one way or another. A place you can always go to get the right answers. It’s a safe, happy place.

But, what if your mind is scattered and confused and answers don’t come easily. There are so many things that have been said or done to make you feel unsure of your own ability to make correct decisions. Maybe some past relationships or uncomfortable experiences have created doubt in your mind. All those things need to be considered.

Or, do they? Do you remember when you first moved into your home?

Boxes were everywhere. So many things were out of place. It was hard to think clearly. You had to put everything in the right place and clear out all the clutter. Those boxes had to go.

Do the same thing with your mind. Clear out the clutter. Take negative thoughts and negative experiences and throw them away. They serve you no purpose. They keep you from the truth and they keep you from your happiness. Keep in your mind positive thinking people and good thoughts that make you happy and confident.
