Start with limiting what you absolutely need to do that day. It’s easy to list all you would like to accomplish during your day. But, by limiting what you need to do, you leave time for what you want to do.
Now, drop all the roadblocks that keep you from what would improve your day. Drop “I shouldn’t. I can’t. I won’t.” Add, “I’m allowed. I can. I will.”
Feeling good about yourself and your day should be your top priority. And, if you think that is being selfish, change your thinking. When you feel good, you send out good energy to all around you. You become a better version of yourself. By treating yourself better, you also treat others better. Don’t waste your day not feeling good about yourself or your day. Turn it around and make it a great day. Do whatever it takes to make it a great day. Treat yourself as you would advise others. They are worth it and so are you.
