What we think, what we imagine always takes the lead as to where we are going.
When we concentrate on the positive, on where we want to be and most all how we want to feel, our journey to get there is rewarding. We feel good and things just seem to go our way. We are “In the flow.”
When we focus on the negative, when we worry, when we allow those concerning thoughts to dominate our thought process, things get heavy. Most things become difficult. We are pulled down by what “might” happen. It can ruin our day, our week and beyond. It can be hard to pull out of this feeling. Start by getting your mind and body into the present. Forget about what might happen. Put a hold on negative thinking and focus on all the good in your life. How lucky are you?
Do you have great health? Start there. Do you have great friends? Stay with that.
Do you have opportunities, if you look for them? Jump on them. Don’t hold back.
You do have control. You can decide how you will feel.
So, decide to feel good. Decide life is wonderful, even with some challenges. Show gratitude. Look for and allow all life has to offer. Now, go out and have a great day!
