When on an airplane, you are told that in case of emergency, place the oxygen mask on yourself before putting it on others. It just makes sense to be in control so you can, in fact, do for others.

This is true in all aspects of life. If you take care of yourself, stay grounded, balanced and at peace, you put yourself in a much better position to benefit others. By staying positive with a good outlook, you set a great example and inspire others. By doing so, you help others without even trying, and it’s not the least bit selfish. So, do the things that are best for you. Love yourself so you can love others. It’s a great way to live a very happy, purposeful life.
