Most days, we start our day thinking of what we “should do” that day. Go to work. Do the grocery shopping. Run errands. There are always things we should do. But what are we missing on so many of those days? What one or two things could we add to our “To Do List” that would bring us joy. Maybe taking the time to read a book, walk in the park, have a nice lunch with a friend. Why do we so often put these things off? Why can’t we do them more often? Why can’t we find a way to fit one of two of them into our busy day?
You know we can if we simply reset our priorities. When we do, the other “should do” things actually get done faster and easier, because we now have more energy just knowing we have those fun things to look forward to. And, if one or more of those “should do” things don’t get done that day – well, we can do them tomorrow.
So, go ahead and add some life to your life. Lead the life of your choosing. Be the person you choose to be. Then, start thinking of what fun things you will do tomorrow.
