In the summer time, days, weeks and months seem to just fly by. There never seems to be enough time to do all you want to do. How can we slow things down?
Find a quiet, comfortable place. Stop thinking about all you would, could or should do. Relax. Take a deep breath and settle back. Allow yourself to just appreciate all you have and all the special people in your life. Give thanks. Understand how lucky you are. Realize you have all you need to be happy. Allow your mind to be at peace. Then, and only then, will the things on your “to do” list become easily do-able. Suddenly, the days slow down. It becomes more enjoyable and more meaningful. A weight has been lifted and you have more strength and a better attitude toward life. You worry less about what needs to be done. You understand you are capable of doing all you choose to do. You can even add to your list ways you might be helpful to others. These additions will be a comfort not only to them, but to you, as well.
So, slow down and accomplish more. Be the best you can be. That will be more than enough.
